SSC CGL 2022:- Staff Selection Commission(SSC) conducts SSC CGL Exam every year for the recruitment of Grade "B" and Grade "C" category posts in various departments/ministries/offices. SSC CGL Exam Stages - Tiers
SSC CGL exam is conducted in the following stages -

- In Tier-1 & Tier- 2 there will be a Negative Marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.

SSC CGL Tier -3 Syllabus
The SSC CGL Tier - 3 Syllabus is a descriptive paper that includes Letter writing, Assays, Precis, Application writing. The minimum qualifying marks for tier 3 paper is 33%.
SSC CGL SELECTION PROCESS
SSC CGL exam has multiple stages. The SSC CGL exam is conducted in 4 stages: Tier 1, tier 2, tier 3, and tier 4. Candidates must clear all the stages one by one to clear SSC CGL.
- Tier 1 exam is a Computer-based exam (CBT).
- Tier 2 exam is also a Computer-based exam (CBT).
- Tier 3 is descriptive paper (Pen and paper mode).
- Tier 4 is skill test - computer proficiency test/ Data entry skill test(wherever applicable).
- Document verification.
- Tier 2 and tier 3 will be conducted for all the candidates who qualified tier 1.
- Tier 4 is only qualifying. only for qualifying for the post of JSO/ Statistical Investigator and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
- Merit list is prepared based on Tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3.
